Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Day Porter to join our team at a downtown museum. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of cleaning, event setup, and general facility support in a dynamic environment.

Schedule:

• Thursday through Monday
• 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• Days off: Tuesday & Wednesday

Responsibilities:

• Set up and break down for events, including moving chairs, tables, and other equipment
• Perform general cleaning duties throughout the facility
• Assist with snow removal during winter months
• Operate power washing equipment
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of indoor and outdoor areas
• Respond to radio communications in a timely manner

Requirements:

• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 40 lbs
• Willingness to perform physical tasks and work both indoors and outdoors
• Basic cleaning experience preferred
• Ability to communicate over the radio in English
• Dependable and able to work independently as well as part of a team
